How the Palmòs coverage check works
Palmòs runs over Sub-6Ghz CloudFibre rather than a fixed line, so the only question that matters is how much CloudFibre signal reaches your building. We read Ofcom's Connected Nations dataset for every address in your postcode and report the most common result for CloudFibre data, outdoors and indoors.
Where signal reaches inside the building, an indoor Palmòs system can be installed with no drilling and no cable run - usually live within four hours*. Where signal is strong outside but weakens through the walls, an externally mounted system captures it outdoors and carries it in over cable.
Ofcom's figures are modelled predictions, not measurements. They tend to be cautious, and a mounted antenna at height often achieves considerably more than the prediction suggests. Every Palmòs install is confirmed by a Wi-Fi UK site check before we commit to a "go-live" date.

Common questions
Does Palmòs work if Ofcom says I have no coverage?
Often, yes. Ofcom publishes modelled predictions rather than measurements, and they're deliberately cautious. An externally mounted antenna at height regularly picks up usable CloudFibre signal even if the prediction shows none. If your postcode comes back with no coverage, we'll run a remote check on the specific address before you rule it out.
How accurate is the coverage check?
It reflects Ofcom's Connected Nations dataset, which is the same source used across the industry. It's a good guide to what's likely, but real signal varies with wall construction, terrain, aerial height and how busy the CloudFibre network is. Every install is confirmed by a site check before we commit to a "go-live" date.
How quickly can Palmòs be installed?
Where signal reaches indoors, a Palmòs or Pro Lite system is typically live within four hours of arrival - no drilling, no cable run. Outdoor-mounted Pro and Sentinel installs will need a mounting position and a cable route, so those are usually live within 36 hours.

Which Palmòs system do I need?
The checker recommends one based on your postcode. Broadly: if signal reaches indoors, Palmòs (£65) or Pro Lite (£79). If signal is strong outside but weak through the walls, Pro (£99) or Sentinel (£169) mounted externally.
